I gave this guy a piece of my mind yesterday but someone deleted my post
I don’t mind giving him another piece though.
The worst kind of racism is hating on your own race.
Congratulations, everyone that will be receiving an ITA from this draw. You (and I) have all worked really hard to achieve it. It almost doesn't feel real when you cross this milestone, but it is a big milestone, indeed!
For everyone in the pool, I know your pain and anxiety and the past couple of weeks have been super anxious for me. I wish you all the best and that you receive an ITA as soon as possible. If you can, try to improve or IELTS score and take the French test (TEF or TCF) even if you speak it only a little bit - who knows you might get extra points from some or all of the sections. I know someone from Bangalore that just added 6 points to his profile by taking the TEF, and I know his French is not fluent.
I did something about my 436 got ITA at 469 after some very hard studying work and completing a program in record time that amazed even the institution.
Now smilling at my CoPR and VISA and deciding on when to pack my bags.
If the date you submitted your profile is 4 November, then no, you did not meet the cutoff. Applicants in the pool with a score of 445 that first submitted their profile before 14:40:13 UTC on 22 October 2018 will be invited to apply. So sorry, buddy.
Feels surreal, doesn't it? I'm also waiting for my ITA. I had a CRS of 454 but was starting to panic because of the delay in the draw and more PNP candidates flooding the pool. But was it you who said that the PNPs will likely go into the next draw? Looks to be that way!
You should receive an ITA. Most candidates end up improving their scores for one reason or another (like improved test scores) after submitting their profile, so what you are talking about is very common.
No, I heard the invitations are pushed out manually after verifying your profile meets your CRS. This is why it takes a full 24 hours to send out all the ITAs, and according to the ministerial instructions they have all of today and tomorrow to send out the invites.
"2 Invitations may be issued under these Ministerial Instructions during the period beginning on November 28, 2018, and ending on November 29, 2018."
