Congrats. What’s your timeline? As for PR application, you can get some bodies such as FCJ or Mathew House that can help you FOC. You could also DIY. But if the cost of your lawyer for the application is reasonable, you can go ahead with the lawyer.

He doesn't have only 28 days to apply for PR once receiving NOD. His lawyer is incorrect or something got lost in translation.
