Hello everyone,

As far as I am aware, Alberta's new EE stream has recently arrived. However, according to their announcement, they will only invite those candidates who have strong ties to Alberta, so what this "strong ties" term mean? For example, I was wondering if having a sibling there can be considered as "strong ties"?

Any help would be highly appreciated

I am in the same position right now, i applied under International graduate and file number is on 28th of november and file was received on january 5th. I would appreciate if someone can give any updates as my work permit expires on July 17th. Really tensed and hope they update AINP website soon.

Got a call today morning at 10am from nomination office .
Got question like my adresse , job titlle , job description and what time is my shift .officer she was nice .
2hours later got my nomination .

I completely understand your situation, my file was received on 22nd nov..and my work permit also expires soon.. hope soon by early next week I get something.. and once they update the site we can have an idea how their processing speed is.

I applied Srs pg in first week of dec and got my file number in first week of January.
Now, I am being offered a job that I was looking for last few month. Should I go ahead and accept that offer or should I stick to same job ?
