Happy I finally got my PR. Just wanted to share my timeline. I actually ended up getting PR by the Express Entry program so for me AINP was just a waste of time and money. So always consider what's best for your own particular scenario.

Submitted AINP application - feb 2017
Confirmation emails - july 2017
Nomination received - august 2017
PR paper application sent - august 2017
Express Entry profile started - august 2017
Express Entry invitation received - august 2017
PR application sent through EE profile - december 2017
Passport request - April 2018
Confirmation of permanent residence - April 2018
Landed as PR - April 2018
(No progress on Paper based application since august 2017, after receiving confirmation through EE I requested a withdrawal)

Congratulations! Mind if I ask what’s the highest education you have and what job do you do? Cuz I wanna apply for EE as well but I’m not sure if I could get drawn from the pool even though I passed the line to apply.

I have a BA and a job offer. But the pool has the lowest score in order to get an invitation so far this year, so it would definitely be something to consider! Good luck.

Was your job offer supported by an LMIA ? cause i heard that's the only way one can be awarded points for that category.

I'm LMIA exempt through NAFTA.

Thanks! So you applied both to ee and ircc after the nomination, I should probably do the same thing then see which one would come in first.

I'm worried about the Processing & and inventory dates because seems like it is moving too slow.

got my file number January 8.. still waiting for my ainp certficate. i am expecting it this month or next month.. but im still thinking of applying Express entry after i finish my one year as a food service supervisor

Hi i applied on 8 dec 2017 in eds- international grad. Got file no. on 24 jan
Haven't got my nomination yet.
I think they are clearing cases of sept, so i guess there is still 2-3 mnths wait remains.

Anybody applied in oct or nov got nomination in same category?

My EE application had nothing to do with my Alberta nomination though, I didn't even mention my nomination on my EE profile.
