I am waiting for nomination. I still have a long wait because my AOR is on Feb 5.

Hello everyone,

Here's my timeline:
Application received Dec 3, 2013
AOR- March 7, 2014
File number- March 10, 2014
Email regarding work permit- April 15, 2014
Category- Employer Driven Stream
NOC- 6211(Retail Store Supervisor)
Called AINP a few days ago and they said my application is waiting to get processed and I will get an answer between August 3rd to December 3rd(which is 8 to 12 months processing time).

So, I am also waiting from Decmeber 3rd last year till now and hoping to get my nomination soon!! Keeping my fingers crossed!

I have my work permit only valid till 24th Oct.

Hi everyone, pls I'm really confuse about the AINP and NOC code. I got a job in a warehouse whose manufacturing company is in the states. The warehouse distributes to Alberta area. They have a similar branch in ontario. I am still working there thru an agent and the manager promised I will be made permanent soon. I look up the AINP stream and I saw warehouse with shipper/reciever as Job title under NOC C 1471.

My question
- After I made enquiries, I was told my job title will be "warehouse worker" on the employment letter and after checking the roles of NOC C 1471(shipper/receiver) I saw that I am doing everything shipper/receiver is doing as part of my roles in d warehouse plus many other roles. But on d AINP form, I have to fill my Job title...Now I'm confused on what I will write as job title cos its stated on the NOC C job title as shipper/receiver. I'm really confused. Pls I need advice from people with similar situation. Must the job title be exactly what AINP specify?

- the manufacturing company is in the States with warehouse in Alberta. Will this affect the application? Must the industry be in Canada?
