i applied under employer driven skilled category ..still no luck with file number ..i saw one guy with the same category waiting for one month..
is it advice-able to put another application on AWE?? coz its going pretty fast

Hi im just wondering if there are buzzer beaters out there like me, i sent my application thru ups nov 25, delivered nov 26, now im worried sick :'(, i have read the delivery notification the address is not the same as what i have written on the ups form, i don't even know if im making any sense here
Its because the address that AINP drop box Suite 940 is for personal drop ins only, it was noted in that cubicle there that all mails thru couriers are to proceed to 15th floor of Telus Plaza North.
I knew this when I accompanied my friend to drop his AINP-AWE application personally.

My application reached AINP - 14 November 2013 under Post grad worker category. No file number yet as well.
I am not sure when and how AINP gives file number some people who applied around the same time under AWE already got their file number. ???
You can call them...but i think your nomination is on its way so you should wait for a few more days and then check with them...processing time is atleast one month so it could be more as well...
I think its in the mail already, as we have one here who got his file number same date as yours and he received it in mail on Nov. 26. You will receive it this week.
There are cases that Canada Post deliver late.

I just saw the AINP website and according to the stamp there has been a following update on 2 December 2013 -
"The AINP is receiving a high volume of applications in response to our initiatives. It is highly recommended that all AINP applicants track delivery of their application to the AINP by sending it by registered mail or by courier."
I have not seen this earlier - it is on the processing time page written in bold.
Processing times on the website remain the same. This could be the cause of the delay in applications. I guess they have received a lot of applications in November.
