*Update* The planned changes, including the January start date, will be postponed in order for government to continue conversations with affected stakeholders. However, the goal remains the same – to better position foreign workers in Alberta for long-term success under standards that will meet the federal government’s requirements. Further updates will be announced in the new year. Prospective applicants can continue to apply under the existing streams into the New Year.

Can we change jobs and then send the new documents back to ainp and stay in the same place on the line? And Also if I change jobs after I applied this year and the new rules start to be valid, do I have to do everything again from the beginning?
Hello guys!
Just a quick question, i got ainp certificate on oct 1, and it is expiring on april 1,2018.
Meanwhile i was waiting for my birth certificate from back home, most likely I’ll be getting that around this week. Current time to get aor is about 2-2.5 months! Am i still good to go? Or should i apply for nomination extension. How does this thing work? Like when should my file reach them
my documents were received on the 27th October, got AOR on 21st Dec ( approx. 43 working days). I think you should be fine.
but apply with everything double check signatures and gaps in the work history. If not they will send it back.

Don't take my word for granted but, to the best of my knowledge, the Provincial Nominee certificate need to be valid when your federal package is received, not when you get the AOR, which happens 2 or 3 months later.
