Dont worry...my case might be the rare one and every application is different. There would be no surprise even if late November/October applicants got their nomination before me.
Hello, guys. I've been reading posts for the past few weeks hoping for good news. Just would like to share my timeline too. I applied under Employer-Driven stream, semi-skilled (Pilot Project).
Application received: November 26, 2013
Received email from PNP that they received my application: January 8, 2014
File number issued: February 13, 2014
No verification call yet, and still waiting for nomination.
Applied on Nov 5, 2013, file number on Nov 18, 2013.

Hi,
I already have Alberta Nomination but my WP got expired while waiting for Nomination.
So, i had to come to India to apply for Work permit in New Delhi but today got mail from them stating that my WP can not be approved.
Reason:
your family ties in Canada and in your country of residence
limited employment prospects in your country of residence
your current employment situation.
