there is no such thing like "apply for implied status". If your wp is about to expire and you apply for an extension, while you are waiting for approval (or refusal) if your wp expires before you have that answer then you are on implied status and you can continue to work with the same conditions of your old wp until you have a decision from CIC

They received my application on April 7, i got AOR on May 5, but nothing since then. I am worried because most of people get AOR and Medical request at about the same time. keep fingers crossed

After you received your request for Medical, you will have 60 days to have your exam done.

Me too still waiting...

Send my documents under AINP employer driven stream last February 22 got AOR on February 26 and file number last aApril 8 still waiting for nomination...I know it has to be 6 mos. wait , but having faith will make a difference , right....
Praying for all of us,that they will give all applicant nomination by this month...

Application received on - November 27, 2013-----> file numern feb 21-----> still waiting.. ---> work permit expiring DEC 2014---> expecting.. something comes up.. this month.. on noC Food Service Supervisor.
