Hi,
Can I apply for AINP even though I have never visited Alberta?
Note:I have a sibling who lives there.
Please guide me!

We have been living in Alberta for the last 5 years. My wife has been working for the last 3 years, I have been doing my Ph.D. and we are still waiting for nomination. Unfortunately, the immigration system is very far from ideal. They are inviting a lot of people from other countries, but do not want to take people who already integrated into Canadian society. Hopefully, it will be easier to get the nomination with new restrictions. Still waiting for nomination.

At the moment yes. You'll need a job offer and must already be in Alberta and/or Canada in order to receive NOI.

Hopefully this should reverse to pre-COVID 19 when the pandemic is brought under control.

We are on same stage with different noc code EE Created 3rd march . NOI 29 April and documents sent on 11 May I’m just waiting for File number. Keep in touch...

Not yet...i am very tensed...they are now assesing the files received till 3rd feb 2020 so my appllication is included...but still no news from AINP
