Hello, As of now i am eligible for PR under CEC and planning to apply in two months. Rght now i am gathering required documents but I have the following question regarding PCC.
I've lived in Canada for last 12 months but i am in India right for two months vacation. Do i need to take PCC in India or i need to take it from Canada as well. Please advice.
Hello, I suppose it is difficult for you to obtain PCC from Canada as you are not a resident of Canada. Moreover, as per the new document checklist , PCC is not mandatory. I would suggest to just attach the PCC from your country of residence for now.

1. The OP requires a PCC from every country where s/he has resided for more than 6 months, since turning 18, Except for Canada If one for Canada is required, after CIC does the name check, then they will ask him/her to get a RCMP fingerprint records check.
You need to provide a PCC for your stay in India. For this you dont need to go to India. If you are from Toronto, visit our Indian Consulate in 365 Bloor St and pay $20 of Bank Draft along with Duly filled application form and with your original passport. They will issue the certificate, with a seal in your PP in 4 to 6 weeks time. All the best!!
Yes. What cecapp369 suggested is the best way. I have obtained CPP from Indian consulate in Toronto within 10 days and I have done that couple of times. Hope it takes more time to obtain CPP in india ;D
