Current CEC guide/document checklist only mentions that documents not in English/French require a certified copy. In my case, All the documents are in English. Therefore, does that mean I can make a regular (non-certified) photocopy for the all the documents that are required, e.g. university degree, T4, notice of assessment, study & work permits, passport pages, etc.
Only Photocopies of (No Notary)
1. Passport
2. Visa
3. All (new/old) work permits
4. Degree
5. Higher Secondary certificate
6. Recent T4
7. Notice of Assessment
8. Birth Certificate
9. Salary slips ( 24 months)
ORIGINALS:
1. Police Clearance Certificate
2. IELTS Score Card
3. Letters of Reference ( Original is required?)
4. TRANSCRIPTS IN SEALED ENVELOPES ( is this required at all?)
Some one told me that we need to certify each and every copy of the document including payslips so I am asking. Please let me know if my understanding is right.
Yes, no need to certify documents that are in English or French.
Refer to the CEC checklist - it clearly indicates which documents should be originals or photocopies.
3. Yes
4. Yes, if you are applying under the graduate stream of CEC.

Can you please point out where you found the information that we have to submit the original transcript sealed in an envelope?

11. Education/Training/Qualificiations in Canada
transcript: copies of post secondary transcript of all courses taken inside of Canada.
I also would like to know whether we have to include an original copy or copies of employment reference letter(s) because the checklist clearly says copies.
