I am an Indian trained dentist applying for immigration to Canada under the express entry system but with the NOC code of 3131 (industrial pharma) as my work experience is in pharmacovigilance and drug safety. I am confused if the NOC code of 3131 would entail having a degree or undergrad education in pharmacy. Please advice if I should apply under the NOC code for dentistry as my bachelors and masters is in dentistry and not pharma or is it ok if I apply through pharma NOC code even though my education is not in pharma?
Thank you very much in advance

Thank you for your reply. So can I apply under the dentistry NOC? Do we have to have professional license for practice in Canada. I have seen a lot of Indian dentists immigrate without licensure to practice. However, I’d lime to receive a professional opinion on this forum.
Thank you

You can apply under Dentist NOC, and you do not need a license now to apply and get PR. However, post landing, if you would like to continue Dentist practice, you can request for a license.

Hi, my wife used to practice in India. We were living in US for few years and due to US restriction she was not practicing and we have to moved to Canada now as my wife want to practice. What is the NOC code she can apply and what kind of score she gets for filing the PR, if she becomes Prmary applicant.

My wife has completed her BDS and a 1 year, full-time, paid house job in dentistry. My questions are:
1) Will CIC consider the house job experience as work experience in EE profile?
2) What will be the suitable NOC. I believe it will be 3113 but appreciate suggestions

Could you please guide whether my experience of PV would be counted for express entry or not? If it is yes, then under what NOC should i apply? Kindly guide
