Hello seniors ( or anyone who has knowledge with this)
I have a confusion regarding what to put under " Immigration Office requested for processing this application" in the Generic Application Form
I have been lawfully residing in US for the past 7 years and I am native from Nepal.
I am thinking about applying for FSW coming May but confused on the above topic.
Below link from CIC suggests that the Visa processing office is CPPO if applying from US.
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/apply-where.asp#s
However, I have heard people have been choosing Buffalo, Detroit as their Visa processing office when they applied for FSW from US.
Does anyone know what exactly should I put under the immigration office in the generic application?
Thank you

US is the country where you have been legally admitted for at least one year so you can select
CPP-O(http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/information/offices/canada/ottawa.asp)
for your Permanent Resident Visa applications from U.S.

Hi!
Yes you are right CPP-O is the visa office for FSW applications within United states. Buffalo office is closed down and Detroit office only accept visitor visa applications. Thanks
Thanks for the verification guys. Appreciate you inputs.
