Hi there. Myself Feby. I have recently brought my parents to canada on July 15 th on visitor visa . There passports was not stamped at airport. Now there 6 months is ending in December 15 th. But I want them to stay until end January. What should I do should I apply for an extension for a short period of time. Or does flagpole work for them . Please let me know your suggestion. If extending when should I apply for it .
Thank you
My wife and her son are currently on a six-month stay here in Canada (no stamp in passport, passport still valid for number of yrs.)
Have also applied for spousal visa, PR card, and work permit from inside Canada back in August. Docs are linked online, and some feedback received from IRCC, medical and biometrics all good.
Anyone know what happens with the work permit application, if anything, if I apply for a visitor record now? Jan. 12th, 2023 is their original date of having to leave Canada. Also, do I just send in one application form for my wife and dependent child?
In the process of applying for a visitor record for my spouse and her son. We have already submitted an application for a spousal visa, PR card and work permit, but it's unlikely this will be approved prior to their 6 month visa running out (acknowledged in Oct. all fees up to date).
Did the preliminary questionnaire, and notice one of the requirements is yet another digital photo. Can the GOC not cross reference things like this to our spousal application already has this info? Same with uploading medical exam info,, it's already been completed for the initial application. This is driving me nuts. lol
