Just wondering - if CIC requests documents to continue processing your app, and gives a deadline of say, 60 days - that is your "bring forward date", correct?
Is it true that the VO will not re-visit your application until the "bring forward date" (aka - 60 days from when they originally requested), EVEN IF you sent in the requested docs immediately?
Just wondering for my own information - CIC requested docs from my partner and I. We express mailed them to Ottawa in hopes of not delaying our app too long... Here's to hoping!
From reading this forum, some applications which require more info are picked up again for processing as soon as the required documents are submitted. I do not think there is a 100% answer for you. Your application may continue being processed or may not.
Mine wasn't .I waited the 45 days then 2 days after they sent me an email saying they had received my documents and all good and then went on with my application . It really sucks .I sent mine by express mail and they received it the next day yet still had to wait the full 45 days .

I ordered GCMS notes after our entire application was complete out of curiosity and to answer questions like this for our own file. While we sent our required information in 45 days before it was due, according to the notes, it wasn't even looked at until after the due date CPP-Ottawa gave us. But there are others who just zipped along after sending it in. So, who knows. I hope yours gets looked at much earlier.
it is dependant on the visa office and the visa officer handling the file. for me, my application continued processing within days of sending in RPRF and PP. there is no one answer to this, nor is there any consistency to know what will happen with each application.
NOthing has been done on my file on the bring forward dates....infact my new bring forward date is today and we went in process last week and they also requested new docs last week.
