Question about Sponsoring Student's family?

Hi Everyone

If a student has been approved to study in Canada afterwards, He wants to make his family ( Wife and Children) apply as dependant what does he need to do? Please share you experience about this question here.

I do not need my wife to work just want that they have TRV to travel to Canada and live here.

It is up to you and your wife if she do not want to work. In my opinion, this is the best option for her and chances to are higher to get approval than in visitor visa. Secondly, if you are coming to Ontario and if she comes under this option then she would be eligible to apply health card in Ontario. Because of my limited knowledge, I am not sure about any other visa option.

If some body applies for study permit and accompanying his family then which visa his get?
