question about police clearance

hello folks,

while submitting the sponsorship application form is it necessary to submit the orginal fbi clearance report upfront along with the application? or I can submit the fbi report sometime later during the application process. I only have the photocopy of fbi clearance for right now so i am thinking if i can submit it later that would be great any idea??

I know you need to send an original of your FBI clearence along with your application, but if you don't have one at this moment you can send it later without problems (after you get your cliant ID number; you need to specify that when you send additional papers).

I.N. said it right. Your are able to send it later on, after you receive your UCI or File #. You will receive a letter requesting it, as well. However, I would suggest if you can, sending it up front with the rest of your application. We sent our app in September. We received a letter in December asking for FBI clearance and mailed it off right away. It's mid-April and we are still waiting to hear something back. If you can, send it together with application.
