Yes. However, the questions OP referred to in their post, #20-23 on IMM5490, are only for those applying as common-law or conjugal. The form specifically states after #19 that married couples are to skip those questions and go straight to #24.

I think you might be looking at the wrong form, #19 on IMM 5491 (sponsor document checklist) is irrelevant to most people since it is only for those who must meet the minimum income requirements.

My point about providing proof of the relationship (marriage) was not meant for section 19. It was in response to the `conjugal type relationship' that married couples need to provide evidence of.

This is what I did:

1. Left it blank

2. Dont need to fill anything, since you are married. And on the form it says to go to question 24 (after #19)

3.Since no minimum income is requirement, you dont need to check mark it. Also document checklist mentions only to put tick mark on the documents we are submitting. So I didnt put N/A
