Hello everyone. My commonlaw partner applied for my sponsorship and PR inland last april 2016 and according to the cic status check they started processing may 2016. I got OWP last october 2016 and started working near our area of residence but this January I was offered a much higher paying job 2 hrs away from our residence which I accepted also I rented a room to stay but I always go home during weekends. My question is will this affect my application in anyway also if we file for taxes the company address is at the area where I work is that have any Impact too?

You may be taking a significant risk of having the application refused.

Who you can sponsor
You can sponsor your spouse, common-law partner or conjugal partner if:
your spouse, common-law or conjugal partner is at least 18 years old
your relationship is genuine (real) and was not entered into primarily for the purpose of acquiring any status or privilege under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act. If your spouse or common-law partner is applying in the Spouse or Common-law Partner in Canada class, he or she must cohabit (live) with you in Canada.
You may be taking a significant risk of having the application refused.

I wonder if it depends how you write your explanation. Many people have to work in a different location. I think as long as your primary address is your home together I do not see why it can not be justified. I would seek a legal opinion and perhaps a letter from a lawyer.

I agree with zardoz. You are taking a huge risk. Inland requires that you be cohabiting with your partner in Canada throughout the entire process. Two days a week really doesn't meet that definition.
