Hi Seniors,
I am a PR living in Canada. My wife is in India. She does not have a visitor visa for Canada. I want to apply for her sponsorship to get a permanent residency.
My queries is regarding form: Additional Family Information [IMM5406] :
It mentions "The principal applicant ,their spouses or common law partner ......." have to fill the form
So do I (Sponsor) have to fill this form too?
Regards
JSPCAN
No, sponsor does not complete that form.

Hi Armoured,
Thanks for your response. Sorry for the late response as could not get my hands to internet all these days.
But just curious to know that in what situation is the spouse details have to be filled?

Where the spouse is not a sponsor but also an applicant.
Hi Armoured,
ok....does it mean something like when son sponsors his parents and father in main applicant ....so the detail of mother i.e. spouse of the main applicant will be filled in this column?

That would be one scenario I suppose. More simple one is any economic stream application by a married principal applicant. Spouse is dependent and not a sponsor.
