Query about PCC from India

To get your PCC from India, one can either go to the police commissioner's office OR the regional passport office.

It seems that it is much quicker and easier to get it from the passport office.

My query is that will I be able to get a PCC from Regional Passport Office - Pune if my passport was actually issued by the Regional Passport Office - Ahmedabad?

It will take a long time to get the PCC from Pune as the passport office have to give you clearence for Pune as well as Ahmedabad. I would suggest you go to Ahemedabad and apply. I applied in Bangalore in the morning and the same day evening I got my PCC. My passport was issued from Bangalore.

I think, its better to apply at the passport office where your passport is issued rather than applying it somewhere else...

Hi Expert,

I was in Canada for last 2.5 years. Now in India and want to apply for PCC.

At Passport office online form it's say's PCC for which country. Do I need to apply for Both India and Canada?
