What I assume in your case; You applied for GCMS and when the VO checks your file, he finally decided to move things further. I hope you will get DM soon. One thing I want to ask what is your Background Check says in your GCKey account.

May be GCMS note wake them to my file. Background Check is "we are processing your application, when we start your background check a message will be sent to you".

Thanks for the information. I am a bit confused what to do, being an applicant of Oct-2016. Still waiting for MR. In between they only asked for Schedule A of me and spouse, which have been submitted in May-2017, else nothing up till now.

Quebec skilled worker program (QSW) LONDON VO any one waiting RPRF AND MEDICAL after UCI 08/03/2017. federal file received 02/02/2017 now total 6 months finish . same situvation anyone here
my file was received MAY 2016. LONDON VO. until now awaiting for Medical request. Followed up with LONDON VO, their response was background checks are ongoing. Almost 2 years.
I check my ecas everyday with hopes of MR request. And nothing every time. My only hope is that they are doing background checks, criminality and everything else now and that DM will be issued immediately after MR which is why MR is delayed. We will know more when we get our GCMS notes. Fingers crossed and prayers for everyone.

I just asked an update this february to london vo: stating that my file are ongoing background checks and that it could be lengthy and that they'll be in touch after this step.

The procesing time is ussually 14 months. But if you order GCMS notes,you can know what they are doing in detail with your file.
