Hey guys. Here is my timeline :
Application received : 03 September 2019
AOR : 24th of February 2021
Inland with outland dependant. I am seeing on the facebook group that they are sending a lot of medical requests to late September early October applicants.
Anyone else from early September 2019 with still no medical request ?
LOL! I don't think it's as straightforward as that. I had a friend with 3 pages of travel history and his was processed in 21 months . I'm sorry you had a bad experience but it's not a one size fits all.
Honestly just calling them and talking to them might be faster. A friend of mine got a request for a new background declaration form after her medicals back in January and nothing since then.
I don't have a way to call them for free, even from Canada, and since the waiting time may be hours, I don't think it's worth it. Also I have heard of agents saying the Security was started and GCMS notes saying Not started; not sure agents are very reliable, tbh.
Yes usually it’s not but recently people have been getting confirmation of permanent residency 3 to 4 weeks after Medical requests. Some applications are being processed very fast.

I usually call in the morning at like 8am and you get an agent instantly. You're in Montreal no? Damn! You're a jetsetter! I had 2 pages and thought that was pushing it.. Lol
It depends also where you traveled and why, it's not straightforward.
You want to choose the half full glass, no problem. I hope your application get processed even faster. Good luck!
You're right. But you also were holding 2 citizenships amd had a non accompanying spouse that they also asked about. Anyway. I'm glad your ordeal is over. Good luck!
Just a bit more clarification, I have already got CSQ, and I meant the federal process. I logically thought my application to PR would be cancelled automatically upon submission of my study permit, but seems this is not the case. Naturally considering the Quebec conditions, I think I will be refused even if I complete my application by paying the processing fee. I would just make sure of this.
