Hi guys! Got an email requesting to submit photocopies of my passport on August 1st (ready for visa letter) but still haven't received the DM letter. Is it also an email or a physical letter? Is it normal to take that long? Cheers!

I sent my federal application 3 month 3 weeks ago and yet didn't receive the file number or my medical exams ..
Hope to receive something from them the coming week (on the 17th I'll be waiting for 4 months) ..

PS: my file is priority because of my major ,.. I am a computer scientist!

I received the ready for visa on 29 July and today, I received a message confirming the PR process is finished in GCKey. In the letter, they also say they send by post the CoPR and an electronic foil. So now, I'm waiting for these. In GCKey, I don't have the timeline anymore... it was still there 2 days ago when I checked.

When we are asked to send passport for PR visa to enter Canada, how fresh should be the passport be, is it OK if passport is valid for 7 months?

Hi,
I consider 1 of 3 options to renew my passport (will expire in 8 months) while on my 23rd month for PR.
1 - wait for PR visa passport request , get it, renew passport, travel to Canada with both passports.
2 - renew passport now (it takes 1 week), inform CIC, wait for PR visa passport request.
3 - renew passport after PR visa passport request.

Which one sounds better?

I would like to change my residential address via the web form.

• I relocated to another country. If I change my country, do I need to send additional documents as well? such as residence permit etc.?
• Does this operation change my local Visa Office?
• How long does it take to see the new address on my ECAS account?

Hello if anyone is facing delays on CSQ for family reunification, i am an outland applicant had submitted my file on June 26th,2019 (CSQ) Normally the QC immigration issues it in 25 days but as per shown on their website they are processing files received on May 15th, anyone in the same situation?

On the eCas it’s written after the acknowledgment of receipt line that they sent me a letter (January 2019), please consider delays in mail delivery before contacting us. However, I still haven’t received anything. Do they mean a hard copy of the AOR or they usually send something else? Thank you in advance.

It is on GC key. If you applied through lawyer, the latter should have informed you. In any case, check on GC key or your immigration firm.

No I applied myself, on the GC key nothing mentioned, but just to make sure do we receive hard copy for the AOR, or mail letter for the biometrics request directly with AOR, or just emails for both?
