Those who apply federal through provincial nominee their processing time is 18 months but if their work permit is about to expire and decision is not rendered yet they can apply for open work permit (quebec doesn't have that)

I have applied through PEQ (CSQ). The processing time is showing 14 months.. I know from next week they will stop working bcz its almost the holiday season. So I guess no hope until Next year :/
