Hi,

I have received UCI and Application no. The mail says that "Your application has now been placed into processing". But when I check the status it says "We received your application for permanent residence on August 17, 2015".

What would be the next stage of processing? And how much time it would take?

My application was received on 21 Aug 2015 and still awaiting for AOR.

What do you mean "it was acknowledged as well" ?? did you receive AOR (case / file number) ?? what is your Visa office or country of residence ?

Acknowledged - here i meant was that my courier was signed and received by Mike at Sydney Novascotia on sep 14 2015 . Country of residence - India .
Well from the forum , my understanding is first they open a file number , after that 2 months of wait . and then they request for medicals .and after that 1 month for issuing visa here in my case the Visa office - will be New Delhi .

I had send it on 10 Aug 2015. I guess you can expect AOR anytime now.

click profile on the right upper portion of this thread then on your left sidebar you can see options on your profile "modify forum profile" etc. you can make some changes on your profile using that option.

any one sent his file to fedral stage between 23-08-2015 to 30-08-2015 and received the file number ???

i sent 26-08-2015(date of receiving the file there ) .

also any one at all received his file number by mail address or all receiving it by Email ???

i know some one sent 30-08-2015 and he received his file number yesterday .
