I actually do live in Papineau... I will draft a letter tonight. I am basically at 9 months, but since there is no sign that this is moving along, better start acting as soon as possible. I will post my letter once I send it.
I am also drafting, although i have few more months left ,wanted to highlight how delay is impacting important decision regarding education, housing ..

Hi San_hot and everyone else,

I am still waiting for DM but my background check changed from "not applicaple" to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."
Also I was asked to submit an updated PCC from a country I have lived in about 20 years ago...

hi
Application filed in SEP 19th 2016 and received AOR in january 2017 , landing fee paid on february, but I haven't received MR yet, nearly 9 months now, is it normal ,my visa office is New Delhi
Check your processing times and try to raise notes ... they call it GCMS... it takes about a month to receive them.
This is not normal though.

Yes I did. How about you, what's the update with you?
Nothing much bro... i didn't link it cuz everything is handled by my lawyer... didn't wqnt to do something which kind of mess up the whole thing.
I hadn't paid RPRF upfront cuz my lawyer didn't ask for it, so i paid it today after got a request from CIC.... so they are working on the files already.... my lawyer again told me ... 11 months .... so i am waiting like u.

Hi dear members.
Question:
Is MR mandatory for all inland qswp applicants?
If yes then how long should it take after AOR. For example on a timeline of 11 months when/where should we expect MR.
Thanks for answers.

Between 4 to 5 months??
I had mine requested right on the 4th month.
Should I be concerned then? since my AoR was 24/11/2016 and the status online, for medical exam, has been throughout the same. That is " you do not need a medical exam, we will send you a message if this changes.."

hi all
I need some information regarding PR application to Quebec. I am waiting for CSQ since 2014. My visa office is in Dubai. My question is usually how long will it take to get CSQ, and later to PR how long will it take?

Hello v_sanhot,

I received that message too v_sanhot right before I paid my rprf fee 2 or 3 months ago.
Like someone said in the forum and looking at the trend, I believe that they only work on QSW permanent residence cases every 1st week or every first 2 weeks of each month. After that, I believe they don't even touch it (they probably take care of other things: maybe EE...).

Looking forward to any updates regarding contacting your local MP, who is also the PM of Canada!!! Hope we will get attention from him to have the equal and fair treatment as Express Entry Applicants from the CIC :p

While Express Entry applicants are expected to get their PR within 6 Months, they actually get it within 90 Days now.

How come QSW applicants are still suffering from such a long waiting time...??

Even in the Saskatchewan, the SINP (occupation in demand)only needs less than 6 months in the Federal step. Maybe we have the slowest Provincial Nominee Program.
