Finally, an update! Got MR today!

hey guys,
I filed federal on november 2016 and my passport was renewed this month as it was only 6 months to expire, I've updated CIC in specific case webform.
Is there anything else we have top do after passport renewal while file is active?
replies appreciated and thanks in advance.

I have renewed my passport as well as my wife's passport while our federal application is in process and when we received our medical request we were asked to submit the copies of the updated passport(s). We just attached those in the email and replied on that particular mail.

So if you have received such email then you should submit the same by replying to that particular email if not then wait till medical request & RPRF request in which they will ask you to submit the updated details of your passport.

hello, I am trying to fill up the IMM-0008 form, what is the CSQ number at 6b of that form? on the CSQ I have got the following numbers:
1. numero du dossier = NA123456789
2. numero de reference individual = NA1234567

which one I have to write it down?

CSQ- Certificat de Sélection du Québec ( in other words Quebec selection certificate)

How many years did they give you? How long was your study program?

I applied for a regular open work permit, not PGWP. And it is just for one year.

As I have checked the same with my CSQ & I came to know that the dossier number for all the applicants is same whereas the individual reference number of each CSQ holder is different . so that's why I think it will be the CSQ number.

Hi All,

I received my passport yesterday from New Delhi with 8 months visa validity.

Here is my complete time line since application is submitted.

Application sent to Nova Scotia in May 2016,
File Transfer to New Delhi in September, 2016
RPRF paid in October, 2016
Medical Request in December, 2016.
Decision made on 28th April, 2017.
Passport Request on 1st May, 2017.
Passports submitted to VFS on 3rd May, 2017
Received Passports with Visa on 11th May, 2017.

People who have got their visa stamped, have any plans to settle down in Gatineau or HULL (Quebec) region which is very close to Ottawa? I am asking this, because I want to adhere to "Intent to reside in Quebec" obligation. Please share your views on the same.
