I received MR on April 5. I went through the letter again and noticed that the medical request came from Buffalo, New York Visa Office. Just want to know if all of you guys received MR from the same visa office? Or at least those who applied INLAND?

hey guys,
I can see here a lot of applicants submitted IELTS for QSW and I've not submitted any language test result for that. is it mandatory? I got my AOR in feb 22, 2017, so just wanna check will this affect my file processing!
thanks
IELTS is not a required or even optional document in the federal process post CSQ. It will not affect your file processing. There is always a possibility that the visa officer might request it or any other document while reviewing your file (I haven't come across a case yet).

after payment in cic website, the system will send you PDF to your email ,the receipt number is one the top, start with R and 9 numbers.
Hi,thanks. I got that PDF with receipt number. But I want to know how you informed the CIC that you have paid the RPRF. If you used email or some other methods, please tell us the details. Thanks
Hi Guys,
Need your help. I sent my file for federal after receiving CSQ from quebec. I received an acknowledgement as well. I received another email from "
[email protected]" (i am from INDIA) asking to submit the following
-----------------------------------------------------------------
· Payment of your Right of Permanent Resident Fee (landing fee – If paying in India, Demand Draft should be in INR only) for you and your accompanying spouse or common-law partner, if not already paid.
· Submission of police clearance certificates for time spent in any country for a period of 6 months or more, if not already submitted.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
i have already submitted the fee along with federal application. Is the Right of permanent resident fee different from that? Do i need to pay it again? If yes then where will i get the details like what is the amount? where should i send the amount (DD)?
Appreciate your help in this regard.

It is a different fee and the last one in the process. The email should have included a reference/link to how to pay the fee online.
Dear experts,
My application was received at June, 2016 and got AOR on Nov, 2016. Since then no update. I did not send my PCC with initial application and CIC did not ask me for that. My confusion is that is there any relation between back ground check and PCC? As CIC did not ask me for PCC, I guess they have not started my back ground check. am i right? When they will start my back ground check? and how long they conduct it?
please note, my visa office is SVO

Are you inland or outland? And regarding your question, yes PCC are part of the requirements of the background check. There is no specific time when this part should start.
At one point in time, you should receive a note requesting the PCC. I suggest you check which ones are needed and prepare for them.

Hi
Find below my timeline for Federal applciation
Category........: QSW
Visa Office......: Dakar - Senegal
App. Filed.......: 07-05-2016
AOR Received.: 04-12-2016
File Transfer...: 06-01-2017
Med's Request: 24-02-2017
Med's Done....: 19-03-2017
Passport Req..: 24-02-2017
VISA ISSUED...: 20-04-2017
It should be noted that RPRF, Passports and Medicals were requested at once. Something I havent seen in the forum before. Steps on my ECAS is still on Medicals Received but the status was updated to - DECISION MADE.
I wish everyone in this forum to be patient as that is the only thing we can do while waiting for CIC to process out files. In a nutshel, I see light at the end of the tunnel.
