I am so frustrated but I guess it has to be accepted. I replied to the email from CIC Nova Scotia to say it was re-submitted but not holding much hope.
Did you re-sign the forms as it said in the letter that signatures must be 90 days or less? I only saw it after I resubmitted but I checked and we are around 80 days so it is ok thankfully.
I actually had the same update yesterday. I was surprised as well, did it changed for QSW? I mean, there are being lots of changes but I'm not aware of it. We do give the police reports so it's expected they do some checks.
Hey, question for you. What do you mean by background checks not applicable for QSW? I remember when i gave my fingerprints it said that they were processing the background check but not after the Prearrival letter it says not applicable

For inland applicants, there is no background check as far as I know (AFAIK) because all background checks were conducted when they applied through a work permit or study permit. In my case, I have already received the pre-arrival service invitation, and until last Tuesday, the background check status was marked as "Not Applicable." However, it recently changed to "We are processing your background check. We will send you a message if we need more information."
That's why I am asking if there is anyone who has experienced a similar process in their application.

I was searching online and it says that the background check is always done for PR no matter what. I guess it says not applicable cuz maybe the officer hasn't opened yet the fingerprints email from service canada. Once they do they send the prints for checks and it changes to "we are doing the checks"

Appreciate your reply.
Maybe you are correct. Does anyone have the same process? If so, could you please share your timeline to show how long it took to complete the background check and receive the P1 email? It has already been a month and five days since the medical exam and pre-arrival service invitation.

AOR and Biometrics Request: November 15th, 2024
Biometrics completed: November 18th, 2024
Since then, it has been crickets. I see that nowadays the interval between the biometrics and medical request (I never completed a medical exam before) is around a month. So, I hope I will get the pre-arrival letter and medical request soon.
