This page (https://www.canada.ca/en/immigratio.../immigrate-canada/pr-confirmation-portal.html) says “Once we review and accept the photo you submit (note that this may take some time), we’ll create your PR card within two weeks. We’ll send it to the mailing address in Canada you gave us. You can check to see if we’ve accepted your photo through the portal.”
I am not able to understand how do things function.. there is no update on my account after doing medical.. neither it says Medicals received nor it says Medicals passed it’s been over two weeks.. how does things function in ircc
Well, I don't think that an average exists. It's like be "lucky", I got the copr under than 2 months from AOR. There other people who are still waiting and others who got it in one month.
Sorry to hear. I think all outlands are in the same situation.
My timeline is %100 completed for 9 months.
Before COVID outbreak, there was no difference between inland and outland applicants.
Today, inlands get their PRs in 13-14 months while outlands are still waiting 35+ months with no feedback.
I've sent a web form to IRCC and also to my local visa office yesterday.
I told there is an "unreasonable" delay in processing of my file and ask them to speed up the process.
I don't know whether it would work but at least this is something at least we all can do.
FYI. My wife and I applied for PR together. I did biometrics, but my wife does not need to. We received her biometric refund one week ago, about one month after AOR.
