Yes, the received date is Aug 7, 2020.
Are you alone on your application ?
I'm from June 2020 and no medical request yet...

Are there any inland applicants from July 2020 still waiting for AOR?
The problem is that now you can’t even call them to inquire about the status of your application.
I sent my application to Sydney in mid-July 2020, and I am still waiting for AOR (inland).
I contacted IRCC by phone today, but there was no response.

Supporting documents
When you submit your BOWP application, include
  • the supporting documents listed in the document checklist
  • a copy of your CSQ
  • a copy of your acknowledgment of receipt letter
So now it's clear. Those us with XEP, we can't apply for BOWP. We need to wait for AOR. I am completely disappointed.

They have no plans to speed up Quebec PR applications. If they have one this BOWP is not required.

What is the point of this BOWP? I applied in April 2021, my current work permit will expire in February 2022. I am sure I will wait for AOR till April 2022 at least with the current pace, so I will need to renew my work permit with my employer.
My employer is perfect, but what to do with those of us who have a bad employer?
I as an applicant didn't get ANY advantages with this new BOWP considering their policy with AOR...

Indeed they are slow when it comes to Quebec PRs and faster for other programs. Currently they claim that they are busy with urgent refugee applications of Afghanistan. They always come up with excuses to justify the delay. I do feel that 2019 and 2020 applicants are doomed or something!

Maybe the AOR will arrive faster for new applicants who used the new online portal. Will see...

Hello,

What's a pre-arrival letter?

Thank you
Hi,

A letter where they explain that you can use some services to prepare your new life in Canada... So it's quiet pointless for inlands.

Does that letter mean that you are approved for PR?

Not exactly

For people who passed their medical exam before receiving the letter, they are close to the end if their Medical exam is ok.

For people like me who received their letter before the Medical request, there is Medical request, the medical exam and the approval to wait for.

In my file, it's mentioned that I don't need a medical exam, nor they need my biometrics. Is it possible that they'd change their minds later and re-ask me to do them?
