Right now I just want my AOR. Thats what I want, but hey I applied this year so, gotta wait next year to get it.
Seems that they try to clear late 2018 and early 2019 inland applicants before lifting up travel restrictions. Good news.
I hope we see some file movements for outlands as well.
I called today to ask about my file, it was sent in July 2020. They said it was in the process of completeness check so I am assuming we could be getting more AORs very soon.
Yeah, but I see cases like this now:
DF: January 10, 2020
XEP: November 17, 2020
AR: March 16, 2021
DP: 28 May 2021
So this person, for example, got DM in a 2 months after AR.
This person is one month ahead of me. So far I only got Medical Request and Pre-arrival letter. I hope it's not an isolated case. In Express Entry they can validate education, work experience, language exams, security and so on just in 6 months. For sure in QSWP they can process security check less than 6 months. After all most of our documents are checked during CSQ.

Don't raise your hopes to high. I am sure all this new open work permit policy will come to life in a several months.
If I were you I would prepare new WP application.
I am wondering, how weird is it for people who applied in end of April-May 2020 not getting their AOR, but for ppl in Janualry 2020 get DM
Oreven for 2018-2019 not to get DM when 2020 is getting DM...
@thega when did you apply this year?

Sponsorship are much faster.
I mean the sponsorship program, where 1 person asks to become permanent resident because is wife/husband or close relative of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.
