Hi everyone, i have a question that might sound crazy, can i order the ATIP notes even if we have a lawyer(representative) on our file? And it wont affect any information on my file that i have right now
Thanks
Thanks
Thanks Kumar,Congrats! I wanted to check with you as I had submitted my application along with the police certificate. Will they be asking again?
Regards,
Kumar
I had thought about it. A legal consultant had told me that it's not possible. You have to withdraw one before making the other.Dear Experts:
My question is regarding two PR applications. First one is with QWSP, and second one is with CEC Express Entry.
I know its a contradiction. But I want to know is it possible?
You guys know anybody who did it before successfully?
Don't worry. It's all good. It's your information and you're trying to access it, so it's all fine. ATIP requests will just make the agent send you the info that exists. They won't change anything in your application.Well, I do have a rep and I did order ATIP notes. I hope that I didn't screwed up. Can anyone confirm as I just started to worry.?
DearDear All Seniors,
Please help me out. I have got CSQ on Sep' 15. Currently I am living in USA as an international student & my wife is pregnant. The due date of our baby is Feb' 16. I got the following confusions. That will be really great if you kindly suggest me on the followings based on any practical experience.
1. Shall we wait for our baby to be born to get a csq for him/her or we shall process our federal part right now & will add our baby on a later stage?
2. I already checked the processing time from USA but there is no information on CIC website about it for USA. Do anybody know about it?
3. From which visa office in USA I need to file my application for PR? Currently I am living in Florida.
Looking forward for your valuable feedback please.
Sincerely
Rishad
I have a question for you as well as everyone here, as i don't see anything related to Quebec gov.The agent also sent me this email after which I think will help you.
After applying for permanent residence under the Economic class - Adding a family member
If you are the principal applicant of a permanent residence application already in process, you could add your spouse or common-law partner, dependent children, and their dependent children to your application, even if they were listed as a non-accompanying dependant in the initial application.
To do so, we invite you to send your add-on request through the IRCC webform available on our website. You can attach the following forms and documents in the field reserved to that effect:
Useful tips
- A new Generic Application Form for Canada (IMM 0008) with supporting documents,
- (If applicable) A Schedule A - Background/Declaration (IMM 5669) form,
- (If applicable) An Additional Dependants/Declaration (IMM 0008DEP) form,
- (If applicable) A signed Additional Family Information (IMM 5406) form,
- A copy of the birth certificate, marriage certificate or proof of common-law relationship,
- A copy of the family member’s valid passport,
- Police certificates for all countries where the family member over the age of 18 has lived for more than 6 months since turning 18,
- A letter of explanation, and
- If applicable, the proof of payment.
We hope you will find this information helpful.
- If you need information to fill out the forms, please consult the Fill out the forms section of the instruction guide found in the application kit that you have initially used to apply.
- If the newly eligible family member is a spouse, common-law partner or dependent child who is already a permanent resident or Canadian citizen, only a copy of the birth certificate, marriage certificate or proof of common-law relationship and a letter of explanation are required.
- It may be impossible to add a member of your family to the application if a final decision has already been made.
Your add-on request will be evaluated by the responsible office. You will be contacted when a decision will be made or if further information is required.
Hi,I have a question for you as well as everyone here, as i don't see anything related to Quebec gov.
how are we supposed to issue a CSQ for the additional family member during PR application in process ??? as per the IRCC letter above, all the requested documents are only with IRCC, nothing here related to Quebec!
Agree but why isn't Quebec government bothered at all. There's an acute shortage of skilled workers here and those having 1+ more experience in Quebec are increasingly opting for CEC and moving out. Any other government would have taken this discriminatory approach of federal to press and sought an explanation but unfortunately this one's happy with continual harassment of prospective immigrants who chose Quebec.https://www.theglobeandmail.com/business/article-ottawa-goes-on-blitz-to-boost-immigration-make-up-for-pandemic-induced/
We are in wrong place and wrong time...
Why do no one in federal bother about QC backlog who already applied ?
I was so hopeful from ur msg abt lifting restrictions but unfortunately Canada has extended travel restrictions until March 21 for U.S. travelers, and until April 21 for travelers from other countries.Congrats! As long as you have COPR and passport back, you would be relieved.
Your 5 years 8 months CSQ process sounds like a real patience test.
I think after April 2021, they will lift those travelling restrictions and you could fly.
And, I see that your MR and DM durations are not that bad comparing to other applicants.
MR in 12 months, 5 days.
DM in 14 months, 12 days.
I still don't have MR even after 25 month, 7 days.
Wish you the best. Cheers.
Thank you for your response, and. your timeline is really encouraging..Thanks Kumar,
Well, I also had submitted the police certificates covering my last 10 years along with my application. But then, they asked for another certificate for a country where I lived 15 years ago. I have no idea on what’s the logic with IRCC, but this is what happened with my case.
