This must be a joke.

You must quarantine for 14 days even if you:
  • have tested negative for COVID-19
  • have been vaccinated for COVID-19
  • recovered from COVID-19
They are over secure themselves. The raison is the health system. No proof although that if you got once Covid you can not get it second time or just be carrier/asymptomatic. Same goes for the vaccines.
A friend of mine arrived in the beginning of January in Toronto. They stayed 14 days in quarantine and 3 days later all of them got Covid. Total mystery!

hello Guys,
I have some questions regarding Federal PR, after CSQ.
My situation:- From India, living in montreal since 2017, student then worker.

Can you tell me about the police certificate process? I am going to send my file soon. Will I get a request for that? Also, Do I have to get both police clearance from India as well as canada?

you mind sharing what will be the process for that. Informed our VO regarding changes of marital status but they haven't informed me that I need to apply for separate CSQ for my husband.

My advise is to dens the police certificate in advice, don't waist time.

You can send in your package and simultaneously apply for PCC. Currently it's taking 4-6 weeks. You would save a bit on the federal processing times, if IRCC is back on track for QSWP this year. You could also wait for IRCC request for PCC submission. If you aren't worried about processing times, you get PCC first and then apply for PR. Depends on what you want.
RCMP clearance only on request, otherwise not.
All the best.

you only need it from India and you can apply at BLS Sherbrooke office.
check their website for more info on how to apply.
Only do canadian PCC, if they ask for it, otherwise, its not required.

My GCMS notes arrived today.
It took total of 117 days to obtain that paper.
There is NO change at all.
Security is NOT started, medical is waiting.
The last update in my file is at 20.03.2020 which is pre-arrival services - eligibility passed.
So it seems my file is waiting untouched for 11 months.

I ordered GCMS note on 23 dec and they came for less a month. Sometimes I think that there are two IRCC.
My file is untouched for 2 years.

Same for me, less than 1 months for both notes I ordered. The first time they they gathered my data a couple of days after my request and waited weeks to send it to me, the second time the other way around.
@dearmilkyway , I think we have very similar timelines. The only thing that I may think could delay my application is that I traveled a lot to different countries, in the last 10 years. Some of them may have flags and may required additional checks. Is it the same for you?
