Hello all,
I got a remedical request just yesterday. Does anybody know when I should expect the PPR?
My timeline is as follows:
APP: Dec 2017
AOR: Feb 2018
MR: Apr 2018
CV: Aug 2019
Second MR: Nov 2019
PPR:????????????
Hi folks does anyone has the same time like mine:
FILE RECEIVED Dec 19,2018
AOR april 2019
BIOMETRICS REQUEST May 2019
BIOMETRICS DONE June 2019
And waiting since then
My bartime shows its due on NOVEMBER 19,2020
anyone in the same time boat here like mine?
Is medical next step? If it is when they are supposed to request it?
Its really getting on our nerves
Hi, yes I would say medical exam is the next step for you. In my case (see timeline below), medicals were asked when there was about 5 months before the end of the bar time. So perhaps June 2020 for you if it’s the same. So I’d say try to relax and not think about it. Request GCMS notes for more details. Good luck, cheers

Hi folks,
I got PR and moved to Edmonton Canada this month. Waiting for PR card. I wanted to know can we move to Montreal and settle straight away on PR or we need to get CSQ first ?
After getting PR card, you can move to any province of Canada and if you are moving to Quebec, you are not obliged to have a CSQ.
Check below :
(2) Every citizen of Canada and
every person who has the status of a
permanent resident of Canada has the right:
- to move to and take up residence in any province; and
- to pursue the gaining of a livelihood in any province.

My third GCMS notes are on the way but they still wont give me any other correspondance. I'm not sure what's happening with my case.
What does your GCMS notes say?
You all realize that the anti immigrant Quebec CAQ party govt. has cut 20% of economic immigration quota at the Federal level right ?
Hence the delays.

However it doesnt explain why many applicants submitted in 2018 and 2019 got ppr while 2017 applicants havent.

This is actually old news and Quebec's limit has been set for the year of 2019.
What is valid from 2020 and which is actually better than today is that Quebec has already agreed on to increase quotas as below;
2019
Skilled Workers = Target 19.500 - Maximum 20.100
Total = Target 40.000 - Maximum 42.500
2020
Skilled Workers = Target 20.600 - Maximum 21.900
(%8.95 increase comparing to 2019)
Total = Target 41.500 - Maximum 44.500
2021
Skilled Workers = Target 27.500 - Maximum 29.300
(%45.77 increase comparing to 2019)
Total = Target 44.500 - Maximum 47.500
2022
Skilled Workers = Target 32.000 - Maximum 33.900
(%68.65 increase comparing to 2019)
Total = Target 49.500 - Maximum 52.500
