Hi guys,

I had these updates on my application:

On GCKey: "August 29: You passed the medical exam"
On ECAS: "Decision Made"

I had MP at May 2018 but GCKey always showed "You don't need a medical exam.... ".

And ECAS shows DM but doesn't say which is the DM!
I became very paranoid with this application so I keep thinking that it will be rejected for any reason.

For me it looks like an extension to my medical, what do you think guys?
Is that possible to medicals show "passed" if they rejected my application?
You have any idea of how many time they are taking to inform which is the DM?

Don't worry sometimes it takes a while, even a few months. I don't know your case but it's very unlikely to be rejected!

Hello ertarun, what I did for the GFL is that I created my inventory in excel with the estimated values, I started with the jewelry and watches then furniture, electronics, clothes and miscellaneous. About one week before landing when I was sure I won’t add stuff and that the estimated values are OK, I copied line by line to the 186 and 186A forms. You don’t have to do it, you can even write your inventory by hand but if you do it you’ll make the CBSA agent life easier and he will get your papers ready quicker, he will rather focus on applying for your PR card and that’s really what you want.

I meant I have seen many Oct-Dec 2017 applicants getting DM recently. Maybe they pick your case as well very soon once they realize you have been left out. One of my friend who was a Dec 2017 applicant got his Medical Request in August first week (just imaging his patience level) and fortunately got his DM 2 weeks after he passed his medicals.

Sometimes, they update this in ECAS within 2 months, sometimes they update it way more later than this.

Would like to know how is everything going with processing as I see we have very active members and who constantly following situations with QSW application. I would like to know if any one have any idea which months file are in process based on the applicants here.

I applied in sep 2018 and got AOR for 6 Sep 2018 and got an email to link my application with gckey id on Jan 17,2019.
I submitted everything upfront but still now their is no news from cic. I am an applicant from inside canada.

I have a friend who applied on May 2018 and he has received the Passport request. He received his medical request in April 2019.

Thanks for your reply. Actually my processing time is complete but I added my spouse 10 months ago with upfront medical since than there is no update. Even my medical got expired and they haven’t asked for a new one. And on June 18, 2019 it changed to application received from in process. Some says it means nothing and some says there will be decision after this.

thanks for sharing yours and your friend experience. I applied sept 6 2018 and all upfront still nothing received. I just received my GCSM notes and it says still criminal record in RCMP is pending and rest of all yet not started .. I dont know what's going on..
