Hi gka008,
Fortunately or unfortunately my daughter just turned to 18 and VO requested new documents from her which took about 2 weeks to prepare. Documents was emailed on Sept 14th. Waiting since then. My CSQ will be expired soon and if I do not receive passport request then I have to re-new it which will take another month minimum.

At least things are moving. Hopefully it will all be sorted out soon. And yes, the CSQ needs to be valid when you do your landing. So you will have to renew.

Hi gka008,
I landed in Montreal on Oct 20th and everything is over now for me. They were very nice at the immigration office and welcoming all like us.
Wishing you and all others a faster process
