I applied for quebec investor class from Kuwait and got an interview in August 2012 in Turkey and then few months later got our CSQ after which I transferred CAD Eight Hundred Thousand in October 2012 after which I applied for Federal Immigration and our file was sent to London, England In Jan 2013. I got my application number and UCI number in June 2013 since then we are waiting for our medicals can you please advise how much more time it will take in my case.

You can check online status of your application at CIC Check Your Application Status. If you need to ask the status of your application directly from Embassy, you can use the London VO case specific enquiry form. If that is not showing or telling you what you were looking for, you may need to request for GCMS notes to see at which stage your file is. Only your notes will tell the exact status of your application and notes from your case worker. Current processing time for London Visa Office is 3 years and 5 months (41 months)

In your case, your file was transferred on Jan 2013. This would put your case to 2 years and 6 months. So, still almost less than a year to go.

Regarding your investment, your investment of $800,000 for 5 years term is guaranteed. You will get this money back after 5 years. (Source)

Thanks for your reply. I check my application on line with the file number they gave me it says your application is received on Jan 2013 and nothing else. I had last requested for CAIPS after paying CAD 5/- and got the reply saying your case is active. Is GIMS something different or it is the same thing.

GCMS are bunch of notes you get ... in a PDF format (mine were like 80+ pages) you receive via email.

Yes I just checked again it's mentioned GCMS notes and its of 36 pages. How can I find out I mean on which page it will say where my case is right now? I got these notes last year

Hi,
Anyone applied from Gulf for Investor class, Please share your views here.
I submitted my documents for federal part of processing Jan/2013 in London office,
But still waiting for update.

Current waiting time for London VO is 43 Months (which is equal to 3 years and 7 months). Processing time starts when you receive Acknowledgement of Receipt (AOR) (source). This would be mentioned on your GCMS (CAIPS) notes)

Since you sent your file 3 years and 5 months ago, you still have to wait few more months before you can ask questions regarding your case via Web Form. If you can provide with AOR date, this would be helpful.

This means... it's only been 3 years and 10 days. (36 months). You may have to wait for a while ... around 6 months. You might be seeing requests and letters from embassy pretty soon.

The processing times only show the time it took to approve or refuse 80 percent of applications during some time in the past. It's just to let you have a general idea of how long it may take.

Once your medicals and paperwork is cleared by IRCC, your application will be approved and you will get request to submit your passports.

I applied for Quebec Investor and now got request for medicals but we are 4 family members
and we received only for my family members but not for me. Can anyone help me what should I do now
as I am the main applicant.

You may need to ask your VO via web query form regarding your medicals in particular. (if you haven't sent it already)
