The 6months doesn't apply to everyone but its just the maximum estimated time.
A friend of mine just got called for interview after 10days of been on waiting list.

Only if CIC raises concerns due to your medical or criminal history. Unless you are a potential hazard to Canadian society or they find out you lied in your application, there is no reason to reject you since Quebec has already chosen you as an immigrant.

No , once you are in good health and have no criminal records.

Make sure you stay in good health. You, and your whole family, everyone. I remember reading just in this thread last year, a person was rejected because his wife has a medical condition.
