Do you mean federal skilled worker class? They have different point scale and have many more applications than Quebec skilled worker pool. So when they accummulated an enormous backlog of files, they decided to give up on the old files, because people who applied ten years ago no longer have the skills needed.

Just curious to know...looks like you are applying FSW from your signature, do you want to apply for Quebec immigration as well, If you have already filed your application in FSW, why do you need to try for Quebec ? Well, you have to take some time in understanding the procedure and get to know the procedure, the Area of training depends on your educational qualification hence would suggest you to check with the Quebec immigration site for clarity on this regard.
Yes I have applied for FSW....but im just worried that I might lose on cap limits for my JOB NOC.....thts why planning to apply for Quebec Permanent Resident too....My education qualification is Bachelors in Chemical Engineering, but my job experience is as Software Engineer ....can somebody kindly summarize me on the application procedure...I might be applying after August....so plzz let me know the new rules....anyone??
You have scored enough points to qualify for immigration you should request for interview waiver.
Did you apply for QSW or you are waiting to apply as from 1st August new rules are implemented and i guess the require B2 for Speaking and you received C2 so you qualify for that too Good Luck my friend.
I have sent all documents more than three months ago, and they have received it 3rd of April 2013.(quebec process)
I would like to know if the changes which announced recently will affect my application or not.
From what I understand it will only change if they process your application in August or later.
I hope you get it before then... If you sent it in April it should come soon.
I'm a French and English teacher here an Ukraine and I thought to share some material.
An Albertan website to learn French,I thought it was brilliant http://www.learnalberta.ca/content/flbla/

They need both speaking and listening more than B2 I think. I got C1 in speaking which is more than B2 but than at the same time my listening is A2 which is quite less than C1.
Both listening and speaking scores are going to matter. Right?
