Can someone guide me about opportunities for financial researchers and investment professionals in Quebec. What is the overall job scenario for such occupations ?
I am a newbie to this forum, and I must say that I have been more than impressed with information I have gathered from different members of this site. I am started to gather all the documents I need, the challenge willing be getting certified copies of the documents. I have also started to take a french course online and will definitely be making use of the french movie/news links posted on this forum to help my listening and accent as well. It is a lot of hard work, hopefully I should be able to put my application through in within the next few months.
I studied biochemistry for undergrad and a masters in biochemistry, no 'tangible' work experience in that field, but I have over 5years working experience working within the commercial sector, my wife, two kids, I intend to pursue a career in my field of sudy when i get into quebec, probably pursue a PhD @ Mcgill if it all works out. I know the journey has just begun, but will keep everyone informed of any updates I may have.

I am afraid neither of us have practiced in our area of study, due to lack of jobs within that area, hence hence part of the need to move. I will wait and see the July 31st rules for the AOT and that will help me decide whether to continue with this option.
