I have applied for Quebec in march 2013, in march i was having 46 months experience so i can get 6 marks and in may 2013 i will have 48 months experience. So they will count 6 marks or 8 marks.
thanks for that information - I did not know that.
So assuming that I initiate the police/medicals in april itself, (after my CSQ), then I will be able to send the medicals/police by june first week. After this, they will take 2-3 months for processing.
Normally the high commision will send you request letter for clearing / attending the medical test which is normally a hospital nearby to your place. You get time of 3 months to attend this test from the date of request. They have tieups like appolo hosp in ahmedabad for gujarat region. Once yiu attend the tests, the hospital will directly send the reports to the high comm. This report has a validity of 1 year. Once this OK report is sent to the comm by hosp, visa stamping is done.
From the time of receiving the request to visa stamping it could take 4-6 months.
Points for work experience are not locked. You should get 8 points especially if you've included a letter from your current employer that indicates you still work for them.

Is there any one here whose file was first opened at an office other than Paris, but that their file was transferred to Paris office for processing at the federal stage?
If so, I wonder how long it takes for an updated file to receive treatment at the medical exam stage. In other words, how long should we be waiting for us to be asked to sent medz in Paris? Thanks for you kind help in advance.
hi islandbabe which office did you send your qsw application to? mine was received in quebec on 27th march through FedEx , am Nigerian but my cc is yet to be charged. it is exactly 2 weeks today since my application was received.
It is exactly 2 weeks today since mine was sent as well to Mexico BIQ, but from what I have read, they take your money early but you still have to wait a very very long time for processing
I hear that it may not be much of a green light, some people almost 6 months and still no AOR....what if you case info, did you send french and english scores how many points do you have?
