hi lhr_montreal, i am a quebec selected applicant also from Pakistan. However, since I am staying in Malaysia, i applied for PR federal part at Kuala Lumpur in Oct 2010.I am also waiting for further instructions from the VO.

If you receive a job offer while your application is being processed and you send them the validated job offer with start date, will you now receive priority processing to try their best to process you before your scheduled job start date?
I reside in Ghana and i'm a financial Analyst, my husband and I are considering migrating to canada. We are using a lawyer who recommended the QSW category. Our french proficiency is beginner. Can anyone tell if we stand a chance living and working in Quebec. Has anyone been successful. Please share your experiences with me

I did have my interview last week, zero French, and had interview in English, passed it, and got CSQ-Priority. My advise is if u want to claim points for French, then u better learn it before ur interview so u can satisfy the immigration officer. I did not claim any marks for French, coz I know no French. I have just started learning more and more French now, because obviously, this is a Francophone society, and before I go, i must be able to communicate in French.

I sent the filled "Power of attorney " letter to BIQ hong Kong office with the legal advisor as not applicable. I did confirm from the support officer before sending it.

i have job offer from HRDC and my case in process in london visa office but they are not happy with my english so i am thinking if there is any way that i can apply for QSW while othere application in process.
Please go on the quebec official website...n check your chances online evaluation. Well without Good french and English , i think it looks a bit difficult! But i think your the person in the best position to judge..Good luck!!

If you are serious for immigration to quebec... then start french immediately...as it will help you in immigration process as well as to live in quebec... give IELTS again after some time to improve!!
