I got my first AOR today. YAY!!!!It was an e-mail and it was in the spam folder of my mail box

P.S.: The AOR is totally in French and I thought the canadian/quebec Govt. uses both English and French in official documents.

that is all u need.. Ministre des finance du Quebec.... it is a foreign draft and not a wire transfer hence they do not need any other details.... then as for u interpreting the beneficairy in English, well i maintain a sealed lips :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\ :-\.
but i also know that it wont cost u more if u leave the name of the receipient without translating to English.... after all we all want to learn french to go to Quebec.... pls dont get me wrong. i have not said ur translation is wrong.... just telling u to play it safe.... u never can tell

hii everyone
can anyone help me im so worried about my wifes visa its been 11 months and still no answer,medical exams has expired in septmeber 2011 and i went twice to damascus 1sr time b4 the medical expired and they told me they gonna call me soon and may be she is going to redo the tests.seccond time i went their after the medical expired they told me that it will take its time maybe till november,in the first of october i emailed them,2 days ago they replied as your file is on queue for review by responsible officer .if decsion is made or we require any document we will contact you.the question do i have to redo the medicals even if its expired 1month ago?does it happened once?and if i have to redo they are supposed to call me before it ends rite?plzzz im so worried and i neeed help thanks in advance

sorry Mikie for the situation u av here.... ur being worried is understood. but the truth is...... the unnecessary delay is connected to a large extent to the disturbance in Syria earlier during the year. this led to the close of operations at BIQ-damascus and all files were sent to Montreal for processing.....since CIC is also runned by Canadian, i want to believe that e the CIC officials too were evacuated for security reasons . and files were temporarily sent to Canada for processing... so it is something out of their control too. cos ordinarily they should av concluded ur wifes application. cos that office takes 13months to process spousal sponsorship
