@ shahi: i totally agree with you that this rating never got in my head too. what i was getting confused of that i calculated my points as per the criteria given on canadavisa.com QSW section. bt if i see the degree equivalency document posted by some members on this thread, then my masters is not getting the same points :S also can somebody elaborate that there are 3 columns in that particular equivalency document: one has the rating before Oct 14th, and other has after October 14th. it has 2 sub-columns, one is RP and other is conjoint, what are these two?

very interesting link posted by canadien. I read the whole thing regarding the selection rules and found out two things that I actually didnt know. First for French A2 (level 4) they give you 6 points not 4 like i have been counting thus far and secondly they evaluate your degree by the transcript and equivalency to quebec diploma and provided an example that lets say a foreign Bachelor's in Management can be equivalent to DCS in management (in quebec)

also, if someone gets a priority treatment then they send you an AOR with such annotation. Priority treatments are concluded in 60 working days.

well in this case, if i refer to the list of trainings, it says that chemistry bach 3 years is given priority treatment even on foreign degrees, but no such thing was mentioned on my AOR. :

yes they hav clearly mentioned 4 priority treatment 4 chemistry degree.......

u should confirm from them if u consider 4 priority...........

On 28th July (few days ago) Canadian Ambassy in Vienna have charged my credit card with 290 EUR. What does this means???
Have they processed my aplication? Are they planing to do that in coming days / weeks?

I am very happy that this happens, but I don't understand what it means...
