They want high school diploma? That's puzzling because the CSQ application form clearly indicates that higher secondary certificates are not necessary. Only BS/BA and MA/MS/PHD documents are.
Hi, could anybody please let me know what's the equivalent for High School Diploma? Does this mean - Bachelor degree, or Master degree in India??
Thanks in anticipation.

If an applicant does not have a post-secondary qualification, then yes, MIDI can & may request high school diploma.
I agree it's rare.
congratulations guys. Félicitations

High school diploma/certificate = end of secondary schooling (usually around 17/18 yrs old); before one goes to university to acquire a BA etc. University level studies, or technical/vocational studies, after one leave school are called "post-secondary".
Lammawitch and others: I emailed the Quebec Immigration Services today asking how the removal of adaptability has affected passing scores and what sort of adjustments have been made. They promptly replied saying that the answer is complicated and I should call them to discuss.
Any comments?

Lol, sort of, but a very ironic lol

. I wouldn't have expected them to reply anything else, honestly.
I've been looking for a clearer answer myself, & as soon as I find it, I'll post here. I'm a bit busy at the moment (I *do* have a life outside CV !!

), so can only devote a little time to trawling through official notices etc
If I were you, I would call them, if you are inquiring about your own file. I don't think you will get a straight answer if you call with a general inquiry about the new parameters.
I'll keep researching & be back as soon as I can.
ETA: here is the new "grille de sélection", as of 5 August 2015. No, it's not available in English.

Bonjour et bienvenue !!
May I suggest that the best thing for your friends is that they join the forum themselves? Sometimes information can be misunderstood/misinterpreted when passed on at "secondhand".
Hence the second line in my sig: I try to keep any info I post about immigration on the public forum. I frequently make mistakes, despite having gone through the immigration process myself, & being involved with it quite often in my life off this forum. By keeping questions & answers on the public forum, rather than in PMs, we can all make sure that the info is correct

.
