Yes the waiting time is up to three months. Moreover, until you give them proof of residence like utility bill or rent contract, they will not give you medical card. I waited almost three months to get my card. I did not take any insurance because it wad deadly expensive. Luckily nothing hapenned.

I am graduate guy working in India for IT Company. I got my assessment done and I am eligible for quebec immigration with 53 points . I am a married guy but unfortunately I am living separately from my wife from last 3 to 4 months .So I have following queries
1. Can I apply as principal applicant and say my wife will not accompany me ?
2. So I will be eligible for 49 points criteria ?
3. Will there be any delay in processing of my file as I am having status as separate ?
4. Will they reject or refuse my file due to my martial status. ?

I am Pharmacist from Egypt Working in Saudi Arabia I sent my file to Montreal on August,2011. They sent me letter including my file number.
Till now I didn't receive any thing from them regarding the interview. I indicated in the application that my level of english is 4 which is higher biggner. After the new modification in the process should I send the TEF result. Moreover, I got marrieg last Februray, 2013 should and I will send the application of my wife is that will affect my situation?
An immigration agency told me that the new qsw rule took effect last august 1,2013 but they started getting applications by september 1, 2013. Is this true?
