Hello everyone,
In the document checklist I sent in my application, it specified a document to be submitted as "photocopy", "sworn", "certified true copies" and "original". So, does that mean that a document photocopy is just a plain photocopy? Does this webpage
http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/en/forms/search-title/dcs-workers/list-authorities.html#other refer only to documents stated in the checklist as "certified true copies" or "notarized copies" (i.e. sworn copies) but not to "photocopies"? By the way, my country belongs in the "Others" section. Merci d'avance!

Hi ,
I have an inquiry regarding the AOT.
My wife hold bachelors degree in Biosystems engineering and master degree in civil engineering ,will we get 3 points and priority for master degree in civil engineering or will we get 0 points for bachelors degree??
Even if the master degree is civil engineering, it will be considered as 12 points, only if it is a 4 year course, As such for a case, X had master in computer Engg, and they told X's spouse Y with Bachelor in Computer Engineering will gain more points, and made Y primary, so you have to check your points based on the years required to complete the degree

Just to let everyone know that Quebec has resumed working on certain African applicants applications i.e. Accra.
My friend who applied in June 2012 (the wife is a nurse and the principal applicant) got an interview invite for the 19th of Nov.,2013.The letter was sent via e-mail on the 4th of Sept.,2013.
I hope we all get good news in earnest.Cheers.

Razaqng,
Thats a good news, hope more to follow. Can you tell one thing ?? did your friend had more than 63 points ? this is to just confirm that people over 63 are also interviewed.. I have never heard that interview is waived for all > 63, but this can atleast give us a confirmation

That is actually 0 points, by the new AOT list: http://www.immigration-quebec.gouv.qc.ca/publications/en/diverses/list-training.pdf , so not priority, actually behind even the 6 points occupations in treatment. How could you achieve 75 points without AOT points?
Even I had d same doubt if Phyiscs is getting any points for AOT.I guess 75 is a big wrong calculation,do recheck your points am sure it's not that much with physics as ur AOT.

Read this from 2013 guide :
Un diplôme universitaire de cycle supérieur à celui indiqué à la Liste des domaines de formation est évalué de la même façon que s’il était de même niveau de cycle. Par exemple, un DESS en administration des affaires au Québec doit être évalué, en vertu de la liste, comme un baccalauréat en administration des affaires.
I think they do not take care of number of years needed to obtain the degree

But it will get delayed considering the priority being given for 16 and 12 point holders.

Wow..C2...good luck...can expect a waiver but a slight longer waiting time considering the priority...still no worries you can sit and relax whereas unlike us who are tensed up till the end whether interview or waiver...

Hopefully there is every reason for the African folks to expect something good before 2013 raps up . Please tell your friend to share his interview experience, his French level, and number of points. Even with my B2 french, I continue to improve it and encourage my wife as well

Trust me we are tensed up, I have no patience and hate waiting, I want things and want them now and usually get them... but in this case I have to bloody wait!!!
We are one Frenchie and one Englandie but I have lived in France for 6 years so we got C1 and C2 in the language tests.
We are not too bothered about being called for the interview as we would probably get minimum 4 out of 6 points, more than likely the full 6 and would give me the opportunity to go to Disney Paris
